NA Robotics (NAR) is a team of experienced engineers & scientists with advanced degrees in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electronics Physics, Computer Science & Data Science. NAR develops custom AI/ML/Big Data-based solutions integrated tightly with off-the-shelf or custom remote-piloted or autonomous drone (rotary or fixed-wing) technologies.
Do you require short-notice and regularly-schedule mapping for 2D GIS analysis or 3D terrain modeling?
NAR has developed multiple innovative techniques for mapping challenging target areas such as surface waters (lakes, rivers, and wetlands) and vegetation intrusion for the utilities industries... Fleet sensors include high-resolution thermal cameras, crop-cams, and specially-tune water turbidity sensors as peer-reviewed and published in The Journal for Environmental Engineering, July 2016.
Beyond mere map-making, NAR specializes in complex Big-Data/AI/ML-based analyses and predictive model building... this includes special-purpose animal and plant AI-identification and population census.
In 2020, NAR broke new ground demonstrating and validating their technique for remotely gathering surface and sub-surface water samples to satisfy state compliance requirements and to improve stewardship of water resources at the watershed level. NAR can draw samples of 250 - 1000 ml from up to 2 m (~6 ft) below the surface and at distances up to 2,000 meters (> 1 mile). Along with the water sampling, NAR has developed a technique to remotely gather bathymetry data for remote ponds and small lakes or difficult-to-reach bays and inlets. Bathymetry includes soft layers beneath the lake bottom. Examples to be posted in the gallery soon.
